General
The main objective of the department is to monitor social change in Dutch multicultural society and to communicate and share its findings with policymakers. Focal points are:
- Contributing to effective civic integration of migrants
- Promoting and facilitating civic, economic , social and political participation of migrants, ethnic minorities and their children at all levels
- Increasing return of investments in the field of education
- Increasing the accessibility of the public sector (education, health services and security)
- Decreasing interethnic tensions and conflicts
